Sew Cosy: Pyjama Bottoms for Beginners
A relaxed, beginner-friendly sewing workshop focused on comfort, confidence, and handmade goodness.
Sometimes the nicest things are the ones you make yourself.
This Sew Cosy workshop is a relaxed, beginner-friendly day of sewing, learning, and making something properly comfortable to wear.
It’s a lovely option if you’re new to sewing, want to build confidence with a sewing machine, or fancy making something thoughtful for someone you love — or just for yourself.
Perfect for beginners, gift-makers, or anyone craving a calm, creative day.
What you’ll make
A finished pair of elastic-waist pyjama bottoms, sewn by you.
Whether they’re for yourself or someone you love, you’ll leave with a wearable garment and the confidence to keep sewing.
Details
This one-day workshop focuses on making a pair of elastic-waist pyjama bottoms from scratch. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process, from cutting fabric to sewing seams and finishing a comfy waistband.
No pressure to be perfect — just clear instruction, plenty of support, and time to enjoy the making.
Think: sewing, learning new skills, a friendly atmosphere, and leaving with something wearable and well-made.
Beginner-friendly
Sewing machines provided
Small group, lots of one-to-one support
What to bring
Bring fabric suitable for pyjama bottoms (cotton or similar woven fabrics work best), matching thread (if you like or use some of mine)
Full fabric requirements will be sent after booking.
Please bring your own lunch for the break.

When: Saturday 14th March 10am – 2pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
